- Tavola Tips:

- Tavola is a game for professionals. Play seriously, play as a King.
- Double tap to discard a card. If you have not used any cards, you can not pass turn until you discard one of the cards in your hand.
- The Cleric is useful to retrieve any piece taken on previous turn. The recovered piece will take the Clerics place. So the Clerics piece is taken off the board.
- The Witch piece gives you one more card in your hand.
- The Mages piece gives you +1 turn point, totaling 4 turn points.
- The Queen has the advantage of not using turn points and not using cards to move and/or attack.
- The King has the advantage of not using turn points and not using cards to move and/or attack. When in check, he can move and attack as you wish, he can still finish the turn in check.
- Try to get control of the board, taken the center at first.
- Try not to lose any Noble or at least try to keep the same amount of Noble that your opponent has. Having less Nobles than your opponent is a major disadvantage.
- Try not to lose the Queen. She is very valuable.
- Try to make combined attacks using the Queen and another piece to pick up two enemy pieces on same turn, for example picking up two Nobles or one Noble and one Queen from the opponent. If possible try to do this by having the Cleric on the board to be able to retrieve the Queen on next turn. This will give you a great advantage to win the match.
- Never change Noble per Pawn. Your Nobles are very valuable.
